I relish producing feature stories that confront chronic, persistent or bewildering cultural themes, challenging an audience's assumptions about them. My favorites ones lay at the crossroads of politics, media arts and questions of race.

To steal a line from an artist friend, I believe that art should never be boring. So, neither should digital content like audio or video. I am a digital content producer with five years of experience. A story about an Arab American street art installation at the 2013 Northern Spark, and another about a national musical competition that confronted youth sexual violence, reflect this sensibility.

Even with deadlines swirling around in my head, my work is reliable, well-organized and artistic. I believe that an effective professional should an independent and critical thinker, and a problem-solver. Maybe that's a lot. (Some people find this radical.) This, I am. (Well, not really "radical.")
